Movie and Scissors!

Drew is growing up so fast and I hate it! I wish he would stay little forever! He isn't talking in 3rd person any more. We used to laugh so hard when he would say his name instead of "I" in sentences. He is getting so big. We took him to see the Bee Movie on Saturday. He sat through all of the previews (which should never be before a childrens movie because they are so long!) and then about a half hour of the movie. He thought the best part was the slurpee!

We left the movie early because he kept yelling "let's go home now!" He fell asleep on the way home.

Drew has learned to use scissors. He loves them. Don't worry...he uses kid friendly ones. He made a few turkeys with Baba. They traced their hands and then added scraps of paper to decorate it. He LOVES glue. Baba has to sing the song she used to sing to her first graders "a little dab will do ya!" to remind him that you only need a little bit of glue. Ask Baba to sing that song if you ever see her. :)

Now that I look back on all of my postings on this blog...it makes me cherish every minute I have with Drew. I look back to the ones I wrote about his sleeping issues. A girl I work with said: Look at the bright side. You know you won't be sleeping in the same bed as him when he gets married. Well, I hope not...but I cherish those moments with him now.
