Soccer mom?!?

It is so hard to keep Drew occupied during the winter. So, after searching through our park district's brochure, I enrolled Drew in soccer and swimming. I took him to his first soccer practice yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised...he was really good. He was able to kick the ball into the goal and somewhat dribble the ball down the court. After a while, he lost interest in the ball and just ran up and down the gym like Forest Gump. Maybe he will be a track runner. Who knows?! Swimming starts on Sunday with daddy. We'll see how that goes. He doesn't like the water much.

Another way Drew stays occupied is by doing art projects at Baba and Papa's house. This project was a little messy so I am glad it was not done at home! Baba mixed shaving cream and glue together. The mixture makes it very easy to sculpt little statues. Then it dries in the shape that you constructed. Drew loves it!

Don't worry...he didn't eat it. He was just pretending!

I have a feeling I will get a lot of calls from Drew's teachers when he gets in school. He seems to be the class clown these days. I can just hear the phone ringing now!! I have made many of those calls in my teaching career. Now I will find out what it feels like to be on the other side of that call! Oh s#*t!
