UP AT THE LAKE PART 1

We spent the last week in Northern Minnesota visiting Tyler's parents. They live in a beautiful lake home. We go there each summer for the 4th of July. We would love to go more often but it is a 9 hour drive! Atleast this time we were prepared with our new DVD player that was installed in our new mini van. YES---I said mini van. We decided with number 2 on the way, we had to get one! Here are a few pictures of Drew enjoying himself in the water. I will have to post the rest of the pictures this week. There were too many. When we got there we didn't know if Drew would like the water since he hates swim lessons and doesn't like going to the pool that much. But, he loved it! He even wore his life jacket without complaining. Ma and Pa got Drew a new fishing pole. As you can see by the picture....he LOVED it!!

He often said "mama, its too deep!" He didn't like the little waves that came in when a boat would go by.
Fishing again...

This is Aunt "Abba". Drew absolutely adores her. He was stuck by her side the whole week. He also got very worried watching her go tubing. He didn't like it when Abba fell off the tube. His bottom lip actually quivered like he was going to cry.

Thanks Ma and Pa for a great week. Everyone is exhausted and in bed already and it is only 9pm. That must mean we had a great time!!! More pictures to come...
