Great weekend!

We had a fun, busy weekend. With the weather being so hot we had to eat lots of popsicles...or poopies as Drew calls them.

This is his "thanks" face. Really it is "tanks".

Then we were off to the park. Here is Drew trying to tell me how big that tree was going to get.

He hasn't quite mastered this piece of equipment. But after watching a few other kids do it, he tried. He has to get his shoes taken off and the sand removed from his toes about a million times. He hates sand in his shoes!

This is the dog statue in downtown Libertyville. He thinks this dog is real, and HIS!

Just stopping to smell the flowers. Don't you all wish we were this carefree!

We ended the weekend by taking Drew to the Thomas and Friends show at the Sears Center. He loved it! However, the only engines in the show were Thomas, Percy, and Diesel. He kept asking where Gordon and Henry were. We had fun. I can't believe how many little boys LOVE Thomas. If only I had invented it....
